Colored Pencil Society of America
May Meeting ~ Saturday May 4th
10:00 to Noon
Room 111 of the Family Life Center
St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church
8151 Chimneyrock Blvd.
At this meeting, we will have a “show and sell”. If you have any art supplies or books, etc. that you never use, bring them to sell or swap with the other members. This will be a good chance for you to clear out your cabinets of things that once looked like you might use, but you don’t. Or maybe you will find just the thing that you have been wanting to try out.
Also if you want to participate in the Artist’s Trading Card swap, do a piece of colored pencil work 2.5” x 3.5”and bring it to swap with another member. This will be a regular feature of our meetings and it’s a fun way to build your own tiny art collection.
The April Meeting was held at the Dixon Gallery and Gardens, where members took photos of the pretty Gardens. Shown in the photo is member Gus Staub, photographing some flowers.
Congratulations to Gus for having his colored pencil drawing, “Beach Trees”, accepted into CPSA 21st International Exhibition to be held July 31st through September 13th in Brea, California.
